Sony Ericsson intros W995 Walkman Phone with new Media Go application


sony_ericsson_w995Sony Ericsson has announced the unveiling of their yet another Walkman Phone, W995, which, the company claims, boats of integrating fun media features. It can be availed in nice-looking shades of silver, black and red.

By rolling out W995, Sony Ericsson has come up with the release of the latest Media Go, an attribute which users can make use of taking their preferred videos, images, tracks and podcasts wherever they dash to. As its rteviews, the phone also lets users simply get hold of latest music using the automatic sync. While the built-in SensMe tool lets users to manage their music depending on your mood. Media Go allows its users to make an easy access to the newest podcasts with the help of only two easy clicks.

Alexandre Cardon, Global Marketing Business Manager at Sony Ericsson, was quoted as saying, “With Media Go there is no need to worry about format, resolution and ‘frame per second’ anymore. No longer will the video you transferred from your PC to your phone play in low resolution or bad quality. With Media Go and the W995 the experience is as good on your phone as it was on your PC.”

The W995 Walkman Phone comes included with an 8.1 MP camera that boasts of up to 16x digital zoom, face detection, auto focus and photo flash. The phone also allows you to watch the videos from YouTube by making use of the built-in Turbo 3G or Wi-Fi. This smart device is also integrated with a Walk Mate function that lets you keep your calories within your reach.

Sporting crystal clear sound quality, the Walkman player also claims to offer a fun way to surf using your music playlists with the help of Shake Control application. The W995 has around 118MB of internal memory, and claims to offer a bright clear 2.6” display with 240 x 320 resolution.

The Sony Ericsson W995 Walkman Phone is slated to be made available from the Q2 of 2009. As to its pricing details, there is no mention so far.
