Sony intros 3 new Blu-ray players to redefine home entertainment

Sony has extended its Blu-ray line by launching three more Blu-ray players. The players are known as the BDP-S1000ES single disc ES player, the ES (Elevated Standard) BDP-CX7000ES Blu-ray disc MegaChanger and the BDP-CX960.
The MegaChanger models can store & play 400 Blu-ray DVDs, discs and CDs. So, you can easily transfer your album to a convenient location. These players can also download info from Gracenote’s VideoID and MusicID to manage the gathered multimedia data.
The BDP-CX7000ES boasts of offering total 24p True Cinema output and HD 1080/60p. The player has been crafted to slot in with 3-party automation control systems. Besides, it is also featured with IR-in port, RS232 connection, 7.1 channel analog output, Sony’s HD Reality Enhancer and Super Bit Mapping technologies. Plus, it is also integrated with HD Precision Cinema HD Upscale technology, which augments standard definition DVDs to 1080p
Also built-in with HD Precision Cinema HD Upscale technology, the BDP-CX960 claims to deliver complete 24p True Cinema output and HD 1080/60p. Besides, it is also sported in with backup for Dolby Digital Plus and 7.1 channel Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio decoding and DTSHD High Resolution Audio. Plus, the player can also bit-stream video files through HDMI. It also backs up many video formats such as CD/R/RW, D-ROM/R/RE DVD-+ Video/R/RW and MP3/JPEG.
Last but not the least is the single-disc BDP-S1000ES Blu-ray Disc player, which claims to back up to Precision Cinema HD Upscale technology and Wi-Fi(802.11N/G/B/A). Compatible with most wireless routers, the player is also featured with DolbyDigital Plus, 7.1 channel DolbyTrueHD, DTS-HD High Resolution Audio decoding and DTS-HD Master Audio.
Besides, it also gives support to x.v.Color technology and Deep Color video output. The device is additionally featured with Digital Living Network Alliance, Sony’s HD Reality Enhancer, Wi-Fi Protected Setup, Precision Drive HD technology and Super Bit Mapping.
The Sony BDP-CX960 and ES BDP-CX7000ES Blu-ray disc MegaChangers are slated to be shipped in August for $800 and $1900 respectively. The BDP-S1000ES is likely to be rolled out in August with the price tag of around $700.
