Sony launches lightweight, low budget snapshot printers

According to Sony, both the models are scheduled to hit the shelves and become available in May this year. The DPP-FP67 is going to be priced around $120 and the DPP-FP97 is going to be priced around $200.
The DPP-FP67 and DPP-FP97 printers are especially aimed at users who want to print photos on demand at parties and other events. The DPP-FP67 and DPP-FP97 are small in size and are light enough to be carried around with you wherever you feel your action is going to take place. These printers are boastful of latest technology and features. They sport excellent sized LCDs. The LCD on the DPP-FP67 is 2.4 inches wide and that on the DPP-FP97 is 3.5 inches wide. The printers let you to view, choose, and edit photos via their LCDs. You can automatically correct common flaws such as red eye and overexposure in your images. The printers offer you a variety of editing and customization options like frames, templates, and the ability of typing messages or captions on your images. The printers offer good print speeds. The DPP-FP67 is capable of printing a photo in about 63 seconds and the DPP-FP97 does the same in about 45 seconds.
Both printers support MS, SD, and xD media. The DPP-FP97 also offers CompactFlash support, and support for an HDMI-out port. The printer also lets you to print images directly from a Sony S-Frame digital photo frame.
