Sony unveils Vaio Z and F series notebooks
Engineers at Sony have once again raised the bars. Yes, if you want to enjoy HD content on your terms-on–the-go, in the living room or wherever you want it, then get set to usher in the new notebooks from Sony. The Vaio Z series & Vaio F series notebooks, packed in with avant-garde technologies, like; HDMI output, Blu-ray Disc optical drive and hybrid graphics system, caters to the requirement of all those PC buffs, who want notebook with ultra mobility, cutting-edge technology and advanced features.
The Vaio Z notebooks boast of 13.1” LED backlit displays, which offers color saturation of around 100 percent. Besides, these devices are also integrated with up to 512GB SSDs, relying on the model and offer functionality of fast boot-up in terms of an HDMI output.
The Vaio Z series also comes with optional Blu-ray Disc optical drive, which allows user to develop, watch and share content in HD. All the notebooks from this series also deliver compatibility for the Windows 7 Professional operating system.
The Verizon Wireless Mobile Broadband’s optional 3G mobile broadband, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11n give the connectivity capabilities to these notebooks, while the battery life can be extended through hybrid graphics system, users just have to switch between power and energy savings while in need.
Besides, the notebooks from the Vaio F series come built-in with 16.4” screens and boast of Blu-ray Disc optical drives, which help play back HD content and develop store. These devices are also said to be driven by an Intel Core i& processor including four cores. The Nvidia GeForce dedicated graphics what supplies it graphics as well as support the Turbo Boost in terms of Hyper-Threading technology.
Integrated with Microsoft’s Windows Home Premium 64-bit OS, the notebook have also been stuffed with a backlit keyboard. The built-in Transfer Jet intelligence lets the users transfer photos wirelessly from Transfer Jet-based digicams. The Media Gallery software can be accessed with PC-hosted dedicated button.
Sony’s Vaio F series laptops are already up fro grabs for pre-order with the price tag that starts from $1,000, whereas the Z series is expected to be made available in Spring for a price of $1,900.
