Earlier it was Fujifilm, which came with its cutting-edge 3D camera technology, and this it’s the turn of Sony that also touts to develop a single lens optical lens technology, which will allow cameras to deliver a higher frame rate at the time of taking 3D images. Sony’s venturing in with HFR single lens 3D camera technology aims at providing the latest and greatest 3D technology to the photography buffs.
At present, the 3D cameras are found to be built-in with a lens for each, the right and left eye. Fine-tuning the intensity of the image hinged on the human eye which consecutively, relies on composite technology to reorganize the disparities in the optical axis, image axis and the focus. This leaves an ill-affect on the shoot quality.
Here you have Sony’s latest technology, which boasts of filling by making use of a single lens and swapping shutters for mirrors. This exchanging claims to ascertain that reflected light diverges concomitantly into the right and left images and gets recorded as soon as it gets to the analogous light area of the relay lens together. The split image gets recorded to the individual sensors to provide comparatively true-to-life images. Since the two images are captured together, there isn’t any conflict of accommodation-vergence.
As the features, the cutting-edge technology will also allow 240fps frame rate that will allow the CMOS image sensor to shoot high-quality pictures of quickly on the move objects as well. The 2D images will be clearly viewed in the absence of Polaroid glasses.
The latest or greatest technology will be exhibited at the CEATEC Japan 2009.
As a final note, revolution in 3D technology has led many big shots of the digital world to bring about a technology that will help provide not only the natural but true-to-life image as well. And now the big giants have ventured into there.
