Sony WX1 and TX1 Cyber-Shot Compact Cameras Reviews

If you are passionate for photography, then get ready for Sony’s latest compact cameras, the WX1 and TX1. Another addition to the Cyber-Shot range, the latest cameras are the first cameras that swank back-illuminated ‘EXMOR R’ CMOS sensor technology. These cameras come featured with augmented image-clarity, decreased grain effect and brilliant low-light performance.
Adding more to the features, the Cyber-Shot WX1 also comes incorporated with 10.2 mp sensor and higher-quality f/2.4 Sony ‘G lens’ including 5x optical zoom. Integrated with 24mm wide angle, 2.7-inch LCD display, this camera is colored only in black and has the capacity of recording around videos in 720p.
Next model to talk about in the CyberShot range is the TX1, which comes with a 10.2 mp sensor, an optical image stabilization trait and 3-inch touchscreen display. Clad in silver, blue, gray and pink, this model is also built-in with 4 x zoom Carl Zeiss lens and has the capacity of recording HD videos in 720p.
The Phil Lubell, director of the digital imaging business at Sony Electronics, shared that through these latest “Exmor R” CMOS sensor cameras, Sony has tremendously increased the experience of customer for capturing images in low-light scenarios. The pics captured in dimly-lit situations result in to unclear and grainy form. But these cameras redesign the way and capture light. Sony has created this trouble-free way to capture amazingly clear, vibrant photos in low lighting scenarios.
The two cameras, besides offering outstanding low-light shooting, also come with super-cool Partyshot tripod attribute. These cameras, through their Bionz processor, also have an automatic of option of integrating the pics together and bring about a great panoramic photo. The two models also have Smile Shutter and Face Detection functions that has an automatic option of snapping the pictures when the subject is at smile.
The Cyber-shot WX1 is slated to be availed in October whereas the TX1 is expected to come in September. The WX1 and TX1 will have their respective price of $350 (approx. Rs. 16,649) and $380 (approx. Rs.18, 076).
