SpinVox boasts of converting Skype voicemail messages to text

spinvox_logoSkype & SpinVox have announced to come up with a joint-venture to announce the re-lease of their voicemail to text conversion for all Skype voicemail users. The SpinVox is claimed to convert voicemails into text messages and send it directly to your cell phone.

With the help of the voicemail-to-text conversion service, the Skype users are not likely to fail to see out any significant calls from colleagues or friends. SpinVox touts to convert voicemail messages to text in 4 languages that is French, English, German and Spanish.

SpinVox co-founder and CEO, Christina Domecq was quoted as saying, “Skype is the first internet communications software provider to deploy SpinVox, further reinforcing our position as the only provider of voice to text messaging services which are used daily by millions of people on five continents. Our user base has grown over twenty-fold in the last 12 months and bringing Skype’s voicemail subscribers on board will accelerate this trend.”

Whenever a contact leaves a message, the service also boasts offering a SMS notification or a free email to the users. If the voicemails are long then it will be transformed in 3 text messages. If the message doesn’t include 3 text messages, there after the message will be disconnected. Words that are not possible to be understood will be changed into question marks or spaces in the body of the message.

If the last text message says that there is not less content then users can just sign into their Skype account and listen to the full voicemail message.

Each voicemail to text message conversion is expected to come with the price of $0.25.

Skype is the first to install SpinVox, and the only provider of voice to text messaging services which are being utilized daily by millions of people on five continents.
