Sprint to intro Android-based Samsung Moment
Samsung and Sprint are all set to roll out the Android-based Samsung Moment handset. It is the first Android-based handset that Samsung will launch in the US. The latest phone is also claimed to symbolize the X-gen of portable and handheld Internet-based devices.
Supported by an 800MHz processor, the Moment boasts of providing only one of its kind touch experience. It comes included with a 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen that boasts of adorning its visage. It also claims to allow instant access to social networking sites, such as, Twitter, Flicker and Facebook. Integrated with media player as well as the capability of visual voicemail, the Moment boasts of a 3.5mm jack.
The Samsung Moment handset also comes built-in with.2mp auto-focus camera, which is built-in with a flash and camcorder. As the features, it also supports for Bluetooth 2.0., and brags internal memory, which is expandable for about 32GB through a memory card.
The powerful and innovative Samsung Moment is an addition to the portfolio of Android devices. The Moment comes included with a full QWERTY keyboard, which helps users make an access to the thousands of apps to be availed in the Android Market.

The Samsung Moment is slated to be sold from November through Sprint channels and national retail partners. The handset comes with the price of around $179.99 following a $100 mail-in rebate and a $50 discount. It will also come with a 2-year service contract.
