Sprint to offer Motorola Debut i856

Earlier it was Samsung Moment and this time it’s the turn of Motorola Debut i856 from Sprint. With this one by one offering, it seems, the leading carrier doesn’t want to take a breath. It isn’t much time passed when I talked about the Samsung Moment, and here we have another offering from Sprint. The latest Motorola Debut i856, Sprint says, is likely to be shipped in conjunction with the Nextel Direct Connect push-to-talk services. In fact, the Debut is the first slider phone from Sprint.
Feature wise, the Motorola Debut is said to come included with a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also comes included with a microSD card, which helps expand the internal memory up to 8GB. In addition, the Motorola Debut i856 also boasts of offering compatibility for the Bluetooth connectivity. It also comes featured with a 2.2-inch color display, which boasts of providing up to 176 x 220 pixels resolution. Reportedly, the Debut is also said to be in-built with an MP3 player, which comes with a 3D Audio equalizer and dedicated external music controls.
As the reviews, the Motorola Debut i856 also comes featured with 1.3mp camera, which boasts of 4x digital zoom, and has the capacity of recording video. In addition, it also comes with the feature of GPS sensor, which helps geo-tag the clicked images. Besides, the Debut i856 also comes featured with Internet connectivity, GPS, MMS, speakerphone, voice dialing, text messaging and gaming. Users can also make use of the Debut if they want to switch from an active push-to-talk call to an interconnect voice call with the help of a dedicated button.
The Motorola Debut i856 is also touted to offer backup for Sprint’s TeleNav Navigation service and web-surfing capabilities. The Debut, from Sprint, is expected to be offered with the price tag of around $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and along with a 2-year agreement.
