TomTom rolls out XXL World Traveler Edition


tomtom-xxl-540sTomTom has rejuvenated the TomTom GPS navigation system with its new XXL World Traveler Edition. The latest navigation system is claimed to bring TomTom’s best-in-the-class technologies, latest maps and optimal routing of Europe, US and Canada on a big-sized 5-inch screen.

The all new TomTom XXL 540S World Traveler Edition is powered by proprietary IQ Routes Technology, which helps users do their driving via routes efficiently. Users can also make use of the TomTom Map Share technology if they want to change their street direction, street names, (PoIs) points of interest and a lot more on their device. Besides, they can also make out what others have corrected.

Jocelyn Vigreux, president of TomTom Inc, was quoted to have said that XXL products of TomTom are most welcomed by consumers as they come built-in with clear and large displays. This largeness and clarity of the displays have also led them make a niche in the market and are all the rage among the users.

The TomTom XXL 540S World Traveler Edition are specially intended for globetrotters, who have high opinion for a sleek design, a wide screen and the guarantee of their routes, which always work efficiently irrespective of their destination. The rollout of the World Traveler Edition has led TomTom to make expansion of their product deliveries to cater to the different and diverse navigation needs of customers worldwide.

In addition, the navigation device also come packaged with up to 7mln (PoIs) points of interest and sophisticated lane direction, which boasts of presenting factual depictions of lane-specific visual directions and complicated and difficult highway junctions.

TomTom XXL 540S World Traveler Edition is likely to come with price point of MSRP $349.95, which is about Rs. 16,248, as per the Indian currency. The navigation system is slated to be made available in the US and Canada stores by early December.
