Toshiba system backup and password-protected portable HDDs reviews


toshiba-usb-driveToshiba has announced the availability of new USB 2.0 handheld hard disk drives, which come built-in with password-protected encryption and system backup. Plus, it also comes featured with other improved software. The drives boast of offering a total solution to the troubles encountered because of illegal access to data and computer failure.

These hard drives also brag software customized for Mac and Windows platforms. These are capable of simplifying backup process. If you are a window’s user, these drives come integrated with the NTI BackupNow EZ software. Users can use it to backup their whole system by just clicking it easily. Besides, users can also use it to restore their system but for booting. The software is also capable of scanning so as the system could be kept safe and sound.

If you are a Mac user, the drive comes embedded with the NTI Shadow that recognizes the folders and files for backup and opts for a handy schedule for storage. Either of the Mac and Windows platforms is built-in with a password-protected security option with around 256-bit encryption, and if the storage capacity of the drive has low running, then its Drive Space Alert attribute claims to alert you at the very moment.

Weighing just six ounces, these postcard size drives can be availed in 500GB and 320GB capacities. They are supported through USB 2.0. They are fully handheld. The attributes such as ramp-loading technology, internal shock sensor, and anti-slip footpads lets anchor the drive and help it to endure every day tear and wear.

The drives will come colored in variety like Liquid Blue, Vivid White, Rocket Red and Komodo Green. The 500GB model comes with the price tag of around $149.99 whereas the 320GB model will be prized at $119.99. You can avail it via the company’s official website.
