Toshiba, world leader in computer industry, announced their new E205 which uses Intel’s wireless display technology which is also known as Wi-Di. Toshiba Satellite E205 is world’s first notebook with this technology. With this technology user can connect computer to HDTV wireless with the help of HDMI adapter.
All other features of the notebook are same as that of previous series of notebooks from Toshiba.
Satellite E205 has 14-inch display which offers the resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels which is quiet good. It offers greater picture quality and bright screen making things easier for user. This device is very powerful in terms of performance as it includes Intel’s core i5-430M processor with Turbo Boost technology. Processor is clocked at the speed of 2.53GHz and runs the device on the utmost limit thus providing greater performance.
Intel’s wireless technology does not demand any external adapter for wireless connectivity. On HDTV, there will be Netgear Push2TV adapter. This little box enables user to connect to TV’s HDMI. It receives video transmitted by Toshiba’s notebook through Wi-Fi. Other ordinary features include 500GB storage hard drive which is quiet large and hence appealing to user. Company claims high expectations from the product. Details regarding dimensions and manufacturing material are not available yet.
Now to talk about other features, device is equipped with 4GB DDR3 RAM memory which is certainly a great feature. It also include Intel’s HD graphics card allowing HD video playback. E205 also include multicard reader, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity, Ethernet jack and media buttons provided as a shortcut for media functions. Users seem quiet attracted by the features of Toshiba Satellite E205.

Many user friendly external properties like touchpad with wide palm-rest area has made Toshiba popular in field of notebooks and this is what they have followed in this new series also. Products announced at CES will be available in few months but Toshiba made their new notebook available to users quickly at the affordable cost of $899. Thus the device with a unique feature of Wi-Di at such a reasonable cost is really beneficial and experts have opinion that people will grab this opportunity.
