Verizon to roll out Touch Diamond2, HTC Mega and Dopod Tachi

Although, the mobile giant has hinted out its desire to spearhead in the Android arena by making 50 percent of its phones Android compatible by 2010, the customers are expecting more WinMo handsets from HTC. Indeed HTC is also working to release a host of windows mobiles in the coming days.

The Boy Genius Report has led us to believe that the HTC has geared up to introduce three latest windows mobiles over Verizon network. These mobile phones are Touch Diamond2, HTC Mega and Dopod Tachi.

Touch Diamond2: The Touch Diamond2 is the latest windows-based mobile gadget from HTC. It will be updated to have a CDMA version. The CDMA version is codenamed as Whitestone.

As the reviews, the Touch Diamond2 possesses a host of useful features. To begin with, the device is powered by Qualcomm 76 00 processor that works at 528 MHz. It features a 512MB ROM or a 256MB RAM. It comes with a 3.6-inch WVGA touchscreen and a 5MP autofocus camera. The camera is made anti-shaking purposefully to enable the customers to capture high quality images.

The HTC Touch Diamond2 also provides gpsOne (aGPS and full GPS) and GSM/ CDMA World phone. It operates on Windows Mobile 6.1. The hi-tech mobile gadget is likely to hit the market in September or October.

HTC Mega: The HTC Mega runs Windows Mobile 6.5. It features Qualcomm 7225 processor at 528 MHz, 256MB ROM and 256MB RAM. It comes with a 2.8 inch QVGA display with 240 x 320 resolution. It also features GSM/GPRS/EDGE/HSDPA. It has 3MP fixed-focus camera for clicking clear images.

HTC Tachi: The HTC Tachi is a Windows Mobile 6.1 phone with dual CDMA/GSM radio. It features a 2.8-inch 480 x 640 pixel display. It supports WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0 for easy file transfers. It also possesses a 3.1MP camera with autofocus.
