Motorola & Verizon Wireless have together said that the Motorola Devour is all set to hit the selves in March. The Devour is claimed to be Verizon Wireless’s first handset, which would offer Motoblur, an Android-enabled content delivery service. This service allows customization and personalization of wireless mobile phones.
In addition, Motoblur boasts of syncing contacts from personal and work e-mail services, like Gmail alongside posts, photos, messages, and extra content from SNS sites, such as; MySpace, Facebook, Twitter. Plus, it also makes automatic delivery of content to home screen and feeds it into simple-to-manage streams.
Further, the Devour is also adorned with the features of 3.1-inch capacitive touchscreen, touch-sensitive navigation pad, accessibility to over 20,000 application using Happening Widgets, Android Market, pre-installed 8GB microSD card, security and back -up and compatibility for Bluetooth profiles, like; HID, HSP, HFP, A2DP, GAP as well as AVRCP.
The Motorola Devour is also loaded with the apps, like Google Talk, YouTube, Gmail, Google Maps including Google Maps Navigation and Google Search. Its universal inbox touts to bring social network messages, texts, e-mails to a single home screen widget for quicker response.

Well, the Verizon-bound Motorola Devour was not likely to be made available so soon as just couple of weeks back, it was made glare of publicity. Anyways, this doesn’t replace Droid since it is being powered by Android 1.6 in place of 2.0. It also doesn’t mean that the phone is not great if we look at its specs sheet, the device allures all the mobile buffs, but let’s see how long it stands in the market.
