Verizon Wireless introduces USB1000 Global Modem

Here is some good news for the customers of Verizon Wireless. They will now enjoy high-speed data connectivity services using the new device, USB1000 Global Modem from the Novatel Wireless.
As its reviews, the USB1000 Global Modem will support several global devices including BlackBerry Storm smartphone and the HP Mini 1151NR notebook. Incorporating the latest technology on CDMA and GSM networks, Verizon Wireless plans to extend frequency bands and multimode operations. As the features, with USB1000 Global Modem, the users can enjoy fast browsing and downloading services. They can also enjoy email services wirelessly.
The company extends several useful services and applications which can be accessed globally. The customers can also access to personal or corporate email and attachments on popular globally-capable smartphones. These services are also available for the users who are travelling foreign countries having GSM coverage. The global Value Program brings discounted rates for frequent international travelers. It costs $4.99 from nearly 150 GSM destinations.
The customers can select between a Global Access monthly plan and a pay-per-use plan. The GlobalAccess Monthly Plan starts from $129.99 monthly access with a 100 MB allowance in 31 select destinations at $0.005/KB after allowance. Apart from that, the customers are given a 200 MB allowance in 31 select destinations. A monthly charge of $219.99 is applicable for the service.
The GlobalAccess Pay Per Use is extended with a 5 GB monthly allowance Mobile Broadband service plan in the U.S. for $59.99. The Pay Per Use rate is fixed at $0.002/KB in Canada. The rate is $0.005/KB in Mexico. It is fixed at $0.02/KB in more than 175 other countries.
Verizon Wireless’ GlobalEmail Plans begin with a monthly charge of $20.00. It includes a Nationwide Email Plan. Corporate email and Web access are part of the data service. The monthly rate for the plans are $64.99 and $69.99 respectively.
