ViewSonic adds six more LCD HDTVs


Viewsonic-lcdtvsViewSonic, leading worldwide in visual displays, has announced the availability of its six latest LCD HDTVs, which start from a 20-inch set to a 42-inch HDTV in its product line up. Ranging from the smallest 20-inch HDTV, the VT2042 has a resolution of 1600×900; the 23-inch VT2342 boasts a 1920×1080 screen, while the VT2645 swanks of 1366×768 pixels in its display.

The LCD HDTV features digital and cable tuners, multiple HDMI ports, and SRS sound. The two smaller units of the threesome boasts up to 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratios, in addition to 5ms response times. The larger VT2342 comes with three HDMI connections to get connected with Blu-ray players and gaming consoles, like the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. The VT2645 also comes with SRS TruSurround HD audio processing.

Featuring SRS TruSurround XT surround sound technology, the two VT3245 & VT3745 come 1080p resolution in conjunction with a 5ms response time and up to 4000:1 static contrast ratios, alongside 3D view processing. Each HDTV also comes with an image-scaling feature, which helps users opt screen from Normal, Movie or Full Screen.

The VT2042 is also featured with 1600×900 resolution whereas the VT2342 boasts of providing up to 1920×1080 resolution. The VT2342 is also included with three HDMI connections to offer support for brilliant Blu-Ray and Full HD gaming on consoles such as Xbox, Playstation and Wii. The VT2042 is slated to be availed this month with the price tag of around $299, while the VT2342 will come with the price tag of around $349.

Last but not the least is the 42-inch N4285, which comes with a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000:1 and 1080p panel. It also comes with a groundbreaking image scaling and an Eco Panel for efficient energy conservation.

As the reviews, the VT2342 can at present be availed with the price of around $349, while the VT2042, VT2645 and VT3745 are slated to be shipped in September with their respective price tag of $299, $449 and $799. The VT3245 and N4285 are scheduled to be rolled out in October with their respective price tag of around $649 and $999.
