Virgin Mobile hits Indian market with its new vGlide mobile phone


virgin-mobile-vglideVirgin Mobile has hit the Indian market with its latest stylish & slider vGlide cell phone, which comes adorned with a Paprika Red color with soft touch finish. The vGlide mobile phone, tagging along the brand philosophy of ‘Think hatke’, comes integrated with 1.8 inch large screen, 65k color plus FM radio with a reasonable price tag of only Rs.2399.

As its reviews, the vGlide mobile phone also boasts of providing lifetime validity and a starter user kit with the cost around 499, which allows users with prepaid connection, lifetime incoming validity, 499 free local SMSes and 499 free local minutes applicable for almost 60 days.

Virgin Mobile is well-known to develop handsets for Young Stan; the latest handset has also been brought about for them and that is why it is a blend of competitive pricing, style as well as features. You are also allowed to download ring tones, wallpapers, Tring Tunes (Virgin Mobile’s ringback tones) games, with an every day access charge of only Rs. 5 from Virgin Mobile’s data portal Vbytes. It also boasts of being built-in with speaker phone, games, travel charger as well as stereo headset.

Delighted on announcing the vGlide phone in India, M A Madhusudan, Chief Executive Officer, Virgin Mobile India, was quoted as saying, “Mobile phone is a lifestyle device for youth and has been an extension of their personality and entertainment requirements. Keeping this in mind, we have introduced vGlide, the first CDMA handset in India with the slider form factor in the sub Rs. 2,500/- category. Besides offering the most wanted ‘sliding feature’ vGlide is stylish, matches the attitudinal needs of youth, is feature rich, and affordable.”

The Virgin Mobile handsets also boasts of a few remarkable offers such as; New 50 paise STD local, Get Paid for Incoming, SMS 123 and the way-out Thank God it’s Weekend which allows you to take advantage of 100 free local SMSs plus local mobile calls at 30 paise from Friday to Sunday at only Rs. 18.
