WiBro-based Samsung M8400 ships in South Korea
Samsung is now ready to ship in its powerful handset in South Korea. Christened as the M8400, the latest smartphone was first seen in October and now is all set to grab hold of South Korean customers with its prepossessing features and cutting-edge technology.
Integrated with WiBro (South Korean WiMax technology) the Samsung M8400 is a 3W handset, which also comes with WCDMA and Wi-Fi. The Windows Mobile-based phone is also encompassed with a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display and is driven by an 800MHz processor, which claims to augment Samsung device’s functionalities.
Besides, the image capturing is made simpler and easier with the built-in 5mp camera of the Samsung M8400. The WiBro-powered smartphone also allows users to make access to KT’s SHOW App Store that is slated to be introduced in January, 2010.
Additionally, the device also claims to be integrated with a MicroSD card slot, enhancing memory space. The company also allows new subscribers to access around 10,000 Wi-Fi hotspots for 1-year. Plus, after signing up for KT smartphone plan, users will be provided a free access to Wi-Fi.
The Samsung M8400 is reported to be first made available for corporate customers, while for consumers, it will come in December.

The big giants of the tech-world doesn’t want to be left behind in the wild goose chase of “Me” first, that is why, each passing day, there is a new device from them and touts to lift the show with its cutting-edge features and technology so seems to have been done by the latest handset from Samsung.
But now, what has to be seen here is if it could match up to the benchmark set by the company as almost all the companies speak high of their device but when it comes in the market it falls flat, just as it has happened with a lot of devices from the leading electronic giant.
