Features of ZTE Score M
If you are looking for a low-cost phone, check out ZTE Score M. Built with cheap plastic, the phone does not look durable at all. Though its design is quite bland but its cheap price will attract the users.
There is a shutter key for launching the camera but it is flat to the surface. Other physical buttons such as power and volume control buttons are also difficult to feel. The sides of the phone have a microUSB port, a microSD card slot, a microphone and a headset jack of 3.5mm. The rear of the phone has a 3.2MP camera that has a metallic plate around it. However, it does not have a LED flash and an auto-focus. A 1,500 mAh battery is placed under the rear cover.
The display of ZTE Score M is very poor. It comes with a 3.5-inch HVGA LCD screen that offers a poor quality display. The users will be highly dissatisfied as their eyes will feel the strain while checking out the visuals. The details are soft but the viewing angles are extremely poor. One can easily notice the distorted colors. The display is definitely not appealing to the eyes.
Interface & Functionality
ZTE Score M runs Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread and a customized interface of MetroPCS. Though Ice Cream Sandwich is not a part of this phone but ZTE definitely offers certain enhancements with Gingerbread. The phone comes with MetroPCS widgets and an animated app launcher bar. It offers personalization and functionality of an Android smartphone but there are no advanced features that can add to the user-friendly experience.

The phone runs a single-core processor of 600MHz that is not very powerful. It delivers a very slow performance. It is so slow that when the images are being displayed in a gallery, you can easily see the animation in individual frames.
Internet & Connectivity
ZTE Score M does not support 3G and provides a poor web browsing experience. Therefore, the web pages take a lot of time to load. The navigational controls are quite unresponsive and cause a lot of annoyance. If data speeds are not useful for you, you can use Wi-Fi. The phone also features a GPS and a Bluetooth.
The shots captured by the 3.2MP camera are just average. The images taken in bright daylight are still decent but the camera does not function well in low lighting situations.

There is a lot of graininess and noise in the results. Videos are recorded at a 640×480 pixel resolution but the details are pathetic. The video quality is poor and there is a lot of distortion in audio recording. It is not a suitable device for shooting videos.
Both the speakerphone and earpiece are weak. The conversations are not clear if you are standing in a noisy area. The voice quality is also quite poor. The phone does not have a strong connectivity with the network. It never shows full signal bars.
It does not support 3G connectivity and has a poor battery life. At the end of the day, the battery level is low at 10 percent. You need to charge the phone every night.
Price of ZTE Score M
ZTE Score M is priced at $50.
If you want to buy an inexpensive phone, you must check out ZTE Score M. The overall experience is average but if you are looking for some advanced features, you need to look for some other alternative. You can spend a little more and purchase HTC Wildfire S which is a better phone.
